Purr - Nekkid - ?

Post by Annika » Thu Jan 28, 2010 4:01 pm

Could anyone swatch Purr and Nekkid next to each other please? They look quite similar and the description isn't that different either, so I'm trying to decide which one to get...

Sorry, no swatch, but the way I would describe the difference is Nekkid seems more intense, almost satiny. It shows up orangy on my lids, while Purr is more subdued and more pinkish, neutral. I wear Purr all the time, but I only go for Nekkid if I need a bold eye to make my blues pop. As base, my foundation is mostly ebony with a touch of buttery gold and I have blue-grey eyes. If you're warmer toned, Nekkid might work better on you.

My skin tone is similar to egerandi's and my descriptions would be the same. I will try to swatch them in a bit here but my week is crazy so send me a PM if I forget.

Purr and Nekkid are warmer than Sandy. Sandy to me was a little lighter as well -- I don't have it anymore, but from what I remember, its finish is pearlescent which makes it look more silver than Purr or Nekkid.

The lighting for this was less than ideal so I had to use flash. I took these in a room with several full-spectrum lights but since it's winter and I live up north, I had to supplement with flash. The colors are pretty accurate, but these could be better. Hope they help anyway.
