A few I like are:

"Daylight" by Matt and Kim
video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQOT1f2stmY

T-Bird and the Breaks, especially the songs "Esmerelda" and "Take Time"

"Let It Ride" by Ryan Adams

"Portland, Oregon" by Loretta Lynn and Jack White

"Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash

"Winter's Come and Gone" by Gillian Welch

"To Believe" by HumanLab

The Afghan Whigs always make me happy, but I'm weird that way . . ;)

I like a little bit of everything! 8-)

Oh I love MIA and I forgot another one is the Ting Ting's "That's Not My Name", it's kind of my guilty pleasure. I drive my kids crazy singing and dancing to that song.

lol- if you only knew how much i loathe that song. It's on the playlist at work that's on a 20 minute loop. It got to the point where we'd stop what we were doing and say "really? what is your name then?" into the air. Not just me either.

You just type in the name of a song or artist and then it plays songs that are sorta like that- oh and it's free for a few hours a month. We have the paid version because if we don't have music going while we're shipping Susan sings the whole time anyway- totally worth $35 a year for the amount of enjoyment we get out of it. Their address is http://www.pandora.com It also streams to my Roku box so I can listen to it at home too. We totally need more Pandora stations at the office...I'm adding a bunch from this thread!

Here's our get up and dance stations:
Madonna- they do mainly 80's Madonna songs- and then they mix it up with some George Michael etc.
Just Dance- Rhianna, with Britney Spears, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga etc.
Michael Jackson- really fun station
Sly and the Family Stone- funky 70's station
Girl Talk- mashups
Vanilla Ice- yes, I'm admitting it...actually a fun station if you want to hear Baby Got Back, old LL Cool J, Young MC, Rob Base, Digital Underground etc. Sometimes we try to freak each other out with our station choices, and this one stuck.
Poison- one stop shopping for hair metal
Laava- more club, trance type- driving beats. It always reminds me of the music they play at MAC counters.

Yup....we're goofballs too.

lol...I could definitely see how hearing that song over and over would drive you crazy  I hated it when it first came out, but then it grew on me. I don't listen to the radio a lot, either Sirius or music I have downloaded, so I didn't have to hear it all the time.
