What is the shelf life of SN's eyeshadows?

Because I probably have enough to last me for several years! I'm wondering what's the best way to store them so that they don't go bad and how long I can expect them to last or should I just give them away now and buy new ones later?

I think if you use a swirly bowl they should last for several years.

Nah, what lwoodall said- keep 'em clean, and they'll last a long time. There's another thread about them- essentially nothing catastrophic happens to silk as it ages.

I don't us a swirly bowl (just the lid) and very occasionally even foil using the lid (with water) and none of my mineral eyeshadows have ever had anything happen to them (the oldest I have is about 3 years old, although those aren't SN eyeshadows).
