SN should make a 'sample of everything' kit

Post by yogingineer » Thu Dec 10, 2009 1:11 am

Because it would save me so much time.... and probably make my fiance happier (well at least he wouldn't notice as all of these packages start flowing in). But seriously... Karen, I think your products are fab. I'm only sorry I didn't find them sooner. Thanks for making them.

lol. Can you imagine how time consuming that would be? They did do a limited edition samples sale once though and it was pretty awesome. I got to try samples of almost every eyeshadow that i didn't already have and found several surprise loves.

That's so sweet! I'm glad you like them.

We get major influxes of blush ho's (of which I am one)...and they'll come in and grab one sample of every color- or every new color. We call it the "Ho to Go" in the shop. Back before we had 30 odd blushes I contemplated adding it to the site, but with the number of colors- yeah, that could get a bit wild.

That would be every mmu ho's dream - sample of everything. I wish I could have seen Karen's face when your request came in! I was also fortunate enough to get the e/s samples during that one-time only occasion. Try the Swap Board. Quite a few of the es samples have been on there already. Lauren

Would a "ho to go" in the color families work - Neutral, Warm, and Cool "ho to go" packs?

Add to that a finishing powder ho to go and a glow ho to go (say that 3 times fast)... I'm really not trying to make more work for your Karen :)

Karen, here's my suggestion: break them down in 3 basic undertone groups - cool, warm & neutral. This would be very helpful for those that get confused when trying to choose shades of blush that are most suited to their skin tones. To further simplify the breakdown, there could be sub-groups, i.e., Matte, Shimmer and/or Light/Medium/Deep Cool, Light/Medium/Deep Warm, etc. A similar breakdown could be done with the e/s. Even if the kits never happened I hope you will consider using the undertone grouping at the website (for e/s) because it would make choosing a suitable palette SO much easier!
