Oatmeal serum in place of moisturiser?

Could the oatmeal serum be used by itself in place of moisturiser? With maybe some kukui nut oil on top to seal?

I can't believe I ran out of hemp moisturiser this morning! Although I promptly placed an order, it will take about 2 weeks to reach Singapore.... I'm hoping that I can make do with something else until the order arrives.

I often mix hydrating serum with a couple of drops of argan oil in my hand for moisturiser. It'll work fine with kukui nut or just about any other oil you normally use.
