Differences between these e/s?

Post by brandfire » Sun Dec 06, 2009 9:33 pm

Ive been perusing the eyeshadows and would appreciate knowing if there is enough difference between these to justify getting each or better off choosing one over the other!!

Wildcat vs Brown Sugar

Heather vs Brimstone

Cream vs Vanilla vs Frenchie

Slink vs Wink Wink ( and how does Alloy compare to these? I know it is straight silver , but in real life view, is there a diffc among these 3 to have all 3? )

Thanks! :)

Hi Brenda,

Ok, here goes: Wildcat is darker than Brown Sugar, and better used as a liner or crease color. Brown Sugar is nice medium brown with shimmer, that is totally doable as as wash.

I don't have Heather, but Brimstone is gorgeous. It reminds me of some of those Monave colors from a couple years ago when we all got free samples. It's a burgundy/purple with coppery highlights.

Of the three highlight colors, I like Cream the best. If you get Brimstone, I would suggest getting Fire, too. (You can absolutley use it with other colors.

I like Slick better than Wink,Wink. It's darker, but I think it's a better neutral. I don't have Alloy.

The morphing colors are awesome.....I can see Quiver on you....Fairy Dust, too.

HTH,
Laurie

Edited to add, with your eyes you HAVE to get Burnished!!!!

Heather is different from Brimstone. Heather is more like a grey with a bit of plum to it - I usually wear it with a lil Idolize in the crease, while Brimstone is full on plum-ish. Not a very good picture, but I used Fire and Brimstone here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2 ... =791557779

Can't help you with the browns, but I'm sure you would like Wink Wink and Brimstone :) I found Slick a bit too close to Idolize, so I didn't get it, but you should definitely get Idolize, if you haven't yet. It's the most popular shadow, even among non-suckers-for-purples-and-silvers.
