Lippie suggestions for not so pigmented lips

I'm venturing off into lippie land... trying to find some lippies that would suit my lips and my skin tone. My lips are not that pigmented (my top lip is darker than my bottom lip), warmer colors look better on me than cooler and I have meduim to deep olive skin. I tried Precious, but it didn't really suit me. Seemed like it was too light pink for my lips and not warm enough. What lippies should I try out? I like MLBB colors. I should mention that I can't pull off brown nude shades either. They tend to wash me out.

I feel you on the brown nudes. I always feel like I look dead, or like a goth girl...it is not pretty on me. Have you tried Mimosa, Berry Crush, or perhaps Desire. Nude Beach is really pretty on too...I have so many favorites Bisou might be pretty as well, it has a little more color, but I am on the fair side.

Not exactly MLBB, but how about Foreplay, Berry Crush, or Rare Berry? Those are all pretty warm and not brown. They aren't overwhelming. I've heard good things about Verve and Temptation, but haven't tried them. The wand glosses aren't sticky, and Summer Fling is a nice colour that's not brown and is a bit on the warm side.

Thank you ladies! I usually don't venture out and get pigmented lippies... I wore a hot pink lipstick when I was 15 and its scarred me for life! So I try to stick to natural colors.. I know I'm probably missing on a lot of beautiful colors.. but I'm taking it one step at a time

I really like the look of Mimosa and Nude Beach. Does any one have swatches of them on their lips? I was also wondering about Bobbi and Cultured. From the product swatch, Bobbi looks like pinky brown, but the product picture it looks pinky plumish color. I'm really bad at describing colors so bear with me. Culture looks like a less plumish version of bobbi. Is this right?

Look in Jen's swatch thread - somewhere in the last three pages or so, Xarata has pix of all the lippies on her lips - and it looks like she has pale lips, too.

Thanks Rhys! I'll take a look at the thread. I have the opposite problem... my lips are dark.
