Must have Matte Eye Shadows

O Those are all pretty. I have some grey shadows and they are tough for me to pull off. I have to really blend them out or a look a bit...dead. But Thistle and Dusty Mauve are beautiful. They are now on the wish list. I haven't order cause I have to wait a bit so much stuff shows up next week. I love all the new stuff. That 7 lip kit is definitely in the cart

It was in my cart too...then it came out. Then it came back in. It is currently out of my cart...but I want it!!! I'm trying to convince myself that I can make due with just the apple one for now. Hopefully it works. I have too much stuff in my cart as it is!

OK let the obsession begin. I just received Eu-Taupe-Ia as the freebie in a $34 order and it's beautiful, thank you very much for the recommendation. After Christmas I plan on picking up every one of the recommended mattes starting with Bone. Thanks again everyone!

OK I'm shopping again. Just. Can't. Stop. haha. Well actually I'm not feeling well and this is keeping me busy.

So anyway, does anyone have Terra and Eu-Taupe-Ia, is Terra lighter or darker? I can't tell from the swatches on the site.

Yeah I'm bumping my own thread. I'm classy like that.

Still contemplating getting Terra but I'd like to know how it compares to Eu-Taupe-Ia.

Yep, we totally allow bumping your own thread. ....I look at it more like a gentle nudge than anything.

Terra will be a redder, warmer brown....Eutaupeia will be more neutral/cool and nearing gray.

I have no camera - sorry. But I dutifully swatched them together. Same finish, but Terra's about two tones darker than Eu-Taupe-Ia is - almost a chocolatey-brown, and as Jen said, a tad warmer.

One could justify having both, if that's part of the question

Thank you very much for the info, everybody. It's so interesting how different people "see" colors. I didn't think of eu-taupe-ia as a cool color but of course it is, haha.
AND BFA just happened to swatch them right next to each other (I hope you don't mind me reposting this, BFA)

Actually some of the pics BFA has are mine!!! But she graciously asked to use them ahead of time, and she has permission as long as they point back to Silk Naturals. She is a classy gal!
