SN recipe for EDM foundation match?
Hi there,
I need help with mixing my own foundation as I'm rather clueless about colours, but I wear EDM Olive Golden Medium or Olive Sweet Almond. Neither of them are a perfect match. Golden Medium is slightly too yellow, and Sweet Almond is slightly too green.
Could anyone help me with a recipe for SN? I have not ordered anything yet but would like to, and will only do so if i'm clear of what i'm doing! (:
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,
You will probably be a Warm Gold. Olive lacks any yellow and buttery Gold will probably be too yellow. All three have a small amount of green. I am not sure for depth....maybe 1 scoop color to 4-5 Ivory?

Thanks
or Buttery and Ebony?
Thanks
Re: SN recipe for EDM foundation match?
DollDoll,
Light Olive (from what I remember) is a blend of yellow and Olive. If Warm Gold ends up being too peachy in color, you might try Buttery Gold. Buttery Gold is not on the extreme end of yellow. Adding a little Ebony or Olive might help in the mix, too. I am not saying all of that to confuse you. I would try Warm Gold in about a 1 Warm Gold : 6 Ivory ratio to start. Simple recipes are the easiest to replicate. Next, try Buttery Gold in about the same ratio.

Re: SN recipe for EDM foundation match?
Hi Jen,
thanks so much for the reply!
Would you recommend that I just get the Warm Gold Starter Kit straightaway? or should I get the deluxe sample kit with all the different foundation colours? Do you have a kit with JUST all the foundation colours without the sponges/brushes/glosses/eyeshadows? (Not that I don't want them, I was just thinking of choosing my own selection of colours and brushes. (: )
Sorry if I'm asking questiosn with 'obvious' answers! I'm still finding my way around the site.

Re: SN recipe for EDM foundation match?
It's not in kit form but you can try just the sample size foundations - put together whichever ones you like:

Re: SN recipe for EDM foundation match?
Rhys has answered it for you, but I jus want to add a little clarification. The sample kits that are around $2 are white base in the coverage indicated with a jar and a measuring spoon. You can purchase the jars and spoons separate, too, but you need at least one spoon to mix.

Re: SN recipe for EDM foundation match?
I wore Sandy Fair or Golden Fair in EDM, and Sandy Fair intensive is a mixture between 20 scoops heavy ivory, 1 scoop peach and 1 scoop buttery gold.

That's weird.. I wear Sandy Fair/Ivory and I have ZERO yellow in my skin. I could see peach, but definitely not buttery gold.
