What recipe do I use to match EDM Olive Fair

Hi all,
I'm trying to find my color match with SN. Currently, I'm wearing Olive Fair in EDM which is my match. I'm a pale Asian, but with not too strong yellow undertones. The green I find in the Olive Fair helps with redness and acne scars/and or acne lesions. Will I also need to buy the green color booster?
BTW, I use the intensive formula in EDM for coverage. Does that mean I should use the Heavy formula in SN?

I think Olive will work best since you mentioned litte yellow. Warm Gold might work, too, because it has slight yellow. I am not sure you will need the Green Color Booster or not, but since you like the green to neutralize redness and you are so fair, it might be a good idea. I really would start with Medium Coverage. The lighter coverage foundations are easier to match because more of your own skin shows through.

I am thinking you will be about 1:16+ in Olive......1:12-14 in Warm Gold.

oh thank you so much - I use Olive Fair too, although I am very yellow. I will try the Warm Gold recipe. Eventually! I think I have about a year's supply of foundation.

thanks for starting this topic! I am also an Olive Fair. Depending on the time of year I can wear any of the EDM olive foundations. I have strong yellow undertones and am a MAC NC15 or NC20 as well. So when I look at the chart I see I could also be a Buttery Gold.

I am a bit confused when you say 1:16+ in Olive. Does that mean 1 scoop of the olive color with 16 scoops of the white base? This foundation seems like such a fantastic deal and I am so going to try it as I start to run out of my other foundations. Thanks for the help!

Yep. One scoop color and 16 or more scoops Ivory.

If you do have strong yelow, Buttery is probably better (1color:11Ivory range). There is still some degree of olive in Warm and Buttery Golds.

awesome, thanks for the quick response. I am going to order buttery first and see how that goes. If that isn't an exact match I can try the olive refill kit or something. I definitely have strong yellow tones which is why I was surprised to find I was an olive with EDM. Thanks again!

Thank you so much Jen for replying. I was really hoping you would. Your color match ability is legendary If I do decide to add in the green booster, how much do you think? Maybe 1/4 to 1/2 scoop? TIA
The sample foundation kit is the original formula right? I think I'll start there, but I think I may end up with either the medium or heavy formula. Hopefully I'll find my match, but when I do, how do I convert it over to the more coverage formulas?

I would add a half scoop or less at a time for the green....it is very green. When you convert from lighter coverage to heavier, you usually just need to omit a few Ivories.

For example...If I am a 1 Olive:14 Original Ivory, I might want to try 1 Olive:12-13 Medium Ivory or a 1 Olive:11-12 Heavy. It sounds simple, but you really need to get your undertones exactly right for the Heavy to look great.
