Question

Post by Oxana124 » Thu Nov 05, 2009 8:41 am

Are we allowed to swap?
I already messed up and this was only my 3rd order, but I got Pristine instead of Splendid, booo, not even sure how I managed that one. So just wondering if swapping was allowed on this forum at all, because between the Pristine and some of the GWP and gumball shadows I do have a few things that I'd like to swap. Thanks!

I have seen some gals sell unwanted things on other general mineral makeup forums, and others have just generously passed their unwanted items on to someone who would appreciate them.

I can't see any reason why not to allow swapping with a few guidelines. Let me run a few things by Karen first, though. She will be out until next week. Please hold off on posting any swaps for now.

I have seen this cause problems on other company forums and I would like to avoid that scenario.

It's been asked before, and I'd never really made up my mind...I really prefer to just offer good customer service to make sure you're happy, but I know that a few of our members are trading amongst themselves anyway. So, I just opened a thread about it...swap away.

Thank you Karen :)
It's my own fault for ordering the wrong powder, but I'd hate for it to go to waste now, and I was hoping to swap it for the color I meant to get (wishful thinking) or at least something else I could use. Will go post about it in the swap thread, thanks!!!!! :D

It doesn't seem to have the "new topic" button and search bar coded in yet- Minor glitch, I'm sure it will be fixed soon enough.

Give it a look over and see if it is working, now.......I might need to tweak it a little.

I just changed a setting...whether or not it works is a different matter. One of these years I'll get it figured out...then I'll move on to actually programming numbers into my cell phone (until then I'm going with the argument that having to remember phone numbers keeps the brain sharp).

I'll be away for the weekend- so if it doesn't work it may have to wait until Monday. I'm going to NYC to celebrate DH's 40th.
