Mixing colors with shine/clear gloss

Post by Trainer » Fri Sep 25, 2009 8:25 pm

What can I use to mix with my new shine gloss? Can I use both eyeshadows and blushes? Is there anything I can't use? Also, for those who have both what is the difference between the vegan clear gloss and the kiss slicker? I just got the vegan shine and its very nice and moisturizing. :D

Yes, you can pretty much use any mineral colour that does not contrain Ultramarines as they are not lip safe. (You don't want to ingest them, basically). Have a look at the colour descriptions ingredients for info about ultramarine content.

I'm not certain about the difference between the vegan and non-vegan lines other than I guess the vegan line does not contain silk. Personally, my skin loves the nourishment it gets from silk, but some folks prefer not to use silk, or simply can't. Ive got one of the vegan glosses and the texture is beautiful. As a user, one would not be able to tell the difference between a vegan gloss and regular gloss by texture or performance - they're both equally lovely and effective.

The big difference in the Vegan glosses is the omission of beeswax and carmine. They are both considered animal products. The oils differ a little from the regular glosses, too.
