I wanted to place an order today, but was blown away by the shipping-over $12 for a $30 order. My last order in June of a similar amount had a $5ish shipping charge. Have the rates really increased that much? I can't imagine paying almost 50% of the purchase price in shipping!

I think it goes by weight, no? If I put $30 worth of lippies in my cart, shipping is $4.31. What are you trying to order? Something heavier?

the shipping on conditioner went up noticeably awhile ago. The post office has jacked up shipping quite a few times lately. The postage for a large envelope (document envelope) was $2.30 for me the other day and I couldn't believe it. Karen does cap the shipping around $12 or $15 I think. I usually buy my conditioner in bulk. I buy myself 2 bottles and my mom 2 bottles usually because the shipping doesn't change much whether i buy just mine or both of ours.

I did have conditioner in the order, that must be it! Wow, what a difference!!
