Disappearing for awhile

Post by Xarata » Sun Oct 16, 2011 12:10 am

I'll still be lurking, but I've been pretty burned out for awhile now (working WAY too much. pretty sure I have stress fractures in my feet and legs that I don't let rest long enough to heal) and I'm trying to spend less time on the computer and more time crafting while saving more money. I know you ladies pay attention, and I don't want anyone to worry about me while I'm gone ;)

Keep posting pictures of those goodies!!!

Hugs Sam, looks after yourself. Time out from the 'puter can be therapeutic. I quit facebook cold turkey for about nine months because I found the draw to sustain the social contact there becoming onerous. Felt lost for a few days and then liberated and suddenly started seeing so many things I hadn't had the time or head space to notice before. Before you know it, you'll either be in a totally different state of mind and happier for the change, or with a renewed enthusiasm and ready to come back more fired up than ever.

Stress can be a pernicious thief and can wreck havoc on the health, so guard yourself carefully and take all the rest and space you need. Lots of hugs -x-

I'm so sorry to hear about your feet, and burnout. As much as I love SN- I took pretty much all of July off, and it was just what I needed. It's amazing what checking out of the internet can do for your soul, and creativity.

Enjoy your offline adventures, and take care of yourself.

We'll miss you!

Sorry to hear that you have stress fractures , speaking from experience they are no fun. Take time to rest and destress your self. Less computor time is a good thing , enjoy crafting and being creative. There is nothing wrong with lurking, I do it too.
