HA! I experienced Guy Fawkes celebrations while living in Italy courtesy of some British kids whose fathers were at the NATO command.

I decided that I liked it and kept it. My neighbors just shake their heads at me and bundle up for the bon fire.

I gave it a little of my own twist. I let my kids burn their bad tests and papers from the first 1/2 term of school to exorcise the bad and bring in the good grades.

I enjoyed celebrating Guy Fawkes day when I was in England. I liked it better than Halloween...
