It really is. I went through an awful ordeal with my ferret 2 years ago, he had very agressive nasty cancer (even for a ferret... they're prone to cancer but his was unusual) and it was the worst thing ever watching him die slowly as they tried to figure out what was going on. At first it just seemed like he was suffering bad teeth, but it turned out to be a tumor behind the upper portion of the jaw causing all that. I know some people would think "just a ferret?" but I love ferrets, they make me happy, they're so cute and lovable, and energetic and evil and I could just go on and on. It was a terrible experience and we finally decided the most humane thing to do was have him put down because any further treatment would be selfish of us, it wouldn't help him. From that point on, I became convinced a sudden accident or natural causes would be much easier in the long run. Well, it wasn't. Not at all. But maybe the problem is that Bo's death wasn't very sudden. The accident was unexpected of course, but it was cruel that he survived the accident and it turned out being the one thing he needed, surgery to close the leg wounds enough to dress them without as much risk of infection, that ended up killing him. I'm doing a bit better today, everyone seems to be doing better but still missing him, but I swear, it's enough to not make me want to get any more pets after the ones we have meet the great beyond.

I feel that the best part of the Olsen twins caption is that its tenses are confused. Anyone want to get in a jab at journalism school?

Hehe...journalism class broke me of my awful comma splice habit, but the term nut graf still makes me giggle.
