I don't have any pictures at the moment but I'm excited about the last few paintings I've done. I did a large painting of a barracuda, then I got into this whole impasto abstract expressionist thing so I have two or three happy jumbles of color and texture. I love them more than I thought I would!
I also did another oil self portrait, my third. I was thinking of cutting out these two watercolors of parrots I did and putting them on there but I'm not sure, I might do a different, larger painting on a board or thin canvas so it can be framed. We shall see! Pictures soon.

I have a deviantart gallery too, because I love drawing and painting (mostly people) as a hobby... just not as good as you.

to be honest, I wasn't very good with faces until I started doing a lot of self portraits, and any time I couldn't think of an idea for what to draw I would just find a friend to pose for me for a bit. this is the best if my friends are doing homework, their face tends to stay still for a long time. I also have a lot of artist friends who help point out whatever mistakes I make, that helps me improve a lot.
Thank you for the watch on deviantart! I looked at your page too and I love your drawings, they have so much life! How can you think mine are better? :}
