Re: Easy diet tips???

Mmmm, I do green smoothies too! My favorite is banana, apple, or pear with kale, and a wedge of lemon...the lemon gives this "bright" flavor to it, very lively in the morning! I add chia seeds to my drinks too since I need to be careful about my blood sugar and even with the fiber I need s...

Re: Easy diet tips???

Portion control is helpful but can be such a pain! I loathe cleaning out measuring cups and such... I weigh out my dog's food per meal (she eats equal portion weight of low carb veggies and protein) right into her bowl thanks to this scale http://www.amazon.com/Escali-P115C-Digital-Multifunctional-C...

Re: Help me cut down on my lippie order :D

Agree with everyone else, Fig Leaf should be good for you, Black Dahlia will be awesomeness! Feyith's fault I love it, she's such an enabler! And Vintage, so you can try a gloss... Not sure if it will be too cool for you or not. Infatuation and Breathless could probably be cut...at least 'til ...

Re: Make-up style

Mmmm, I feel that whole identity/style crisis thing as well. I blame it on my Saturn Return though. Actually that whole thing, my ever increasing wardrobe yet feeling I have nothing to wear, and my insanely huge makeup collection, led me to get a professional color analysis. I realized that wh...

Re: Blush recommendations? (with pic)

Palace is a dupe of NARS Taj Mahal, I can't imagine it not showing up on anyone, it's a beautiful, rich golden orange. Do try a sample, if you are warm at all, it will look gorgeous on you! I love using it as an eyeshadow, I'm really fair so while I have used it as a blush, I have to tap the brush w...

Re: choosing a color based on skin type?

I'd try lightening it just a little bit at a time... Also, make sure your skin is hydrated. I have rather oily skin too, but it gets dehydrated and that increases the oiliness. You could try using some of the oil control primer underneath your foundation after you hydrate (with a serum or light mois...

Re: Reccomend a highlighter for my skin, please

I think Bare may be a bit too shimmery for you based on what you describe. I'm with Zeebs on this: you may want to try highlighting with the perfecting glows like Splendid or even Liberty. I use Crystal and Liberty for brow bone highlight a lot, when I'm going for an easy look. They give a nice lit...

Re: Universally flattering e/s shades

To be perfectly honest, I don't think one exists. I think there are many shades that flatter a wide range of women (like neutral to cool or neutral to warm), but I don't think there is absolutely one shade that anyone with any skin tone, eye color, personal style, etc... can wear. Nice as SN's eye s...
