Re: long-term lippie storage

I've taken to keeping lippy in the fridge. Not the most original answer to your question but they do seem to last longer. I've got several which must be well over a year old if not nearly two years old and I noticed one was starting to turn, so I refrigerated them all. Since then, none of the others...

Re: Shipping prices...

Tell me about it. My "this is the last order this side of the Lottery cheque arriving" order hadn't even arrived and I'd rattled off another one for this new collection. Like a moth to a lightbulb, I was in there and ordered before the new thread started. At least I'll look pretty in the b...

Re: Shipping prices...

Yeah, so much for being sensible. I'd underestimated the entrancement of a new collection of sparkly loveliness.

Seriously. Cannot. Buy. Anything. Else. *not including new collection items.

Re: Valentine's is LIVE!!!

Couldn't be happier for you, congrats to you and Kris. You show such loving care, sensitivity and kindness taking care of customers (who are total strangers) so it's easy to imagine how very blessed your wee family will be with you as a mum.

Re: We bought a house!!!

Hearty congrats Sam. Hope you and Bob have many wonderfully happy years there.

p.s. when it comes to decorating, holding up mineral eyeshadow pots to the walls to sample for colours is the way to go ;) 8-)

Re: how to wear Paranormal?

Eyeliner, wet lined thinly on top for definition, slightly smudged towards the outer corner. Pale gold shimmer (probably Juiced, might have been Homecoming Queen) on the inner corner to soften the harsh colour block. Lashings of black mascara and very clean skin tone everywhere else so that the line...

Re: Sweet Tea vs Hairpin

http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/1619/sncolours.jpg Hairpin on left, Sweet Tea on right. Apologies for poor quality, got a rubbish camera. Not a good representation except to show difference in depth. They're both warmer in real life. Hairpin is a deeper brown with lots of gold, maybe a few fleck...

Re: Shipping prices...

Yeah, I know. *sigh* What takes the sting out of it is that you're honest about it all. That, and the fact SN is still head and shoulders above the pack. Some indie brands start at twice SN prices, like for like, and at far less advanced formulas and finishes. Another brand I stopped using 3 years a...
