Re: Winter

Good idea. I'd love to replenish the stash of lip balms and in particular, I really enjoyed the pudding type flavours. Things like tiramisu, macadamia & white choc in particular. I'd squeal with delight to see another Black Label flavour and possibly a new BL new colour, too (anything non orange...

Re: Alternatives for Allure

Ooh nice suggestions there, thanks. Yeah, I need an SN balm all year around, a dozen times a day or more. In the winter, I regard the Black Label balms as near medicinal as they are all that keeps my lips from splitting! ;) I usually layer a colour over a balm unless I'm using either a BL colour or ...

Alternatives for Allure

I'm trying some new colours for me and would like suggestions please. I got a sample of Allure ALG and love the colour. It's not a colour type (peachy) that I've ever really tried. The nearest I've tried to that range of colour is Precious which is pretty but a little too cold and yellow for my colo...

Re: Customs charge?

Hello, yes, that's normal. Anything over £15 (about $23-24) and you have to pay a handling fee and the customs charges. Depending upon what the goods are, there are different rates of taxation. I've recently found this independent website http://www.dutycalculator.com/ very helpful. You'll probably ...

Re: Catching up on 2012 releases

Thanks for the tips so far :) Equalizer sounds great. Can anyone tell me if it's good for concealing under the eye and specifically just under the lower lash line. I've developed quite a bright pinkness to the lower eye rim (might be age or a lot of time out in harsh weather). I've been using the be...

Re: Catching up on 2012 releases

Thanks, I haven't tried Awesome Sauce yet but was a dedicated fan of Super Serum and the Vit C options while I could get them. I'm not so good with the pale milky pastel lips as I've got quite dark pink lips naturally - Seedy is a MLBB and I *live* in Symphony BL lippy. Really keen to hear how you l...

Catching up on 2012 releases

Hello all :) It's nearly my birthday and that means only one thing... There should be a new SN collection due any time soon!!! Much as I'd love to believe it's scheduled just for me ;) it's the perfect reason to go shopping. That, and getting older requires new makeup to compensate! Though bef...

Re: Apricot Cleanser & Hydrating Serums

I'm going to respectfully disagree with Jen on this one. Leaving the oil on the skin from the Cleansing Oil is not a good idea. It contains that which you were trying to clean away - all the grime, dead skin cells, makeup residue. You shouldn't want that rubbed back into the skin, it's asking for co...

Re: Apricot Cleanser & Hydrating Serums

In short, yes. Any oil left as residue on the skin, or applied to clean skin beneath a layer of water based product, will be a barrier. I remember having this conversation with the global training manager for a French spa brand that specialise in facial oils. They also have a unique product that is ...
