Re: diy palettes

After reading all the information that so many of you have kindly made available here, I got up the nerve to attempt pressing some of my SN eyeshadows. I used FCO and 91% alcohol. They look okay, but the finished shadow is softer and creamier than I would like. Can anyone help me figure out what I d...

Re: Valentine's and the New Year!

Oxana: I think your idea of a pressing kit is genius! I have read your posts about pressing shadows and make up and have wanted to try myself, but find myself intimidated. I have read other blogs about pressing, and there is so much conflicting information as to what is the best thing to use as a bi...

Proper care of make up brushes

I have purchased the Kabuki brush, ultimate blush brush, eyeshadow crease brush and blending brush. I use them daily. My question is; what is the proper way to clean them to keep them in the best condition? Do I have to buy brush cleanser or can I use shampoo and water? How often should I clean them...

Re: Reaction to eye creme

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the input! I have a number of other SN serums and moisturizers that work really well for me, so I will just continue to use those.

Reaction to eye creme

Has anyone else experienced a reaction to the cucumber eye creme? I love the way it feels, but every time I have used it, I get big red blotches wherever I have applied it. The blotches eventually go away, but it takes awhile. Jen or Karen, any ideas? I use the Apricot oil for cleansing, and I am us...

Re: Help With Eyeshadow

I really could use some help and suggestions. A number of shadows that I ordered are not good for me because of the level of shimmer. Jen has set me straight on that - I should stick with matte, demi-matte, suedes and eyelights because of my mature eyelids. Lesson learned. When I go through the colo...

Re: Ultimate Luxury Treatment Powder

I use the ULTP many different ways. On work days, I actually use it as a primer, I think it really helps improve the texture of my skin. On weekends, I use it alone. It softens any imperfections, and makes my skin feel so soft. I also use it as a finishing powder, sometimes on its own, and sometimes...
