Hmmm... I'm getting a different experience with my SN foptics. I have deep cleaned them, and I really soap them up, lathering it all the way... and I don't get black dye. I do get a tad shedding. Like 1 or 2 black hairs. But that's it. Maybe a different batch?

I was using this brush cleaner but it had glycerin in it, and somehow, with synthetic brushes the glycerin leaves a weird feel. Just ever so slight but I can feel the waxyness. And it stopped picking up minerals well.

Will re-wash everything with KISS.
