Re: Is there a list of recipes for imitating EM bases?

While I appreciate the fact that you took the time to reply, I feel you missed the whole point of my post. I didn't say Sandy Medium (which is a peachy gold) was my best match, only that I used it to adjust my Deep Ebony Mix, but in any case Warm Gold mixed with Heavy Ivory DOES NOT resemble it at ...

Re: Is there a list of recipes for imitating EM bases?

First, thanks for replying my post. Next, a little background on my SN usage. When I ordered the SN samples (w/heavy ivory) around Nov. '09 I was very excited but soon became disappointed because NONE of the colored bases gave me a natural looking shade because, except for the peach (which I guess ...

Is there a list of recipes for imitating EM bases?

Hi, I haven't been around here for a long time so I don't know if there is such a thing or where. I thought I'd found the formula that was right for me but after a while it didn't seem so, perhaps my skin tone changed, but there's a couple of EM samples that seem to match my skin better so if i kne...

Looking for a sample of Original ivory and Ebony...

I had trouble finding my match so I used up several samples of different kinds of Ivory in making different mixes. I just ordered and received a refill of Heavy only to realize that a lighter mix actually looks better on me but I won't be able to place another order for a good while so I'm wonderin...

Re: Got my TGIF!

Ok, I'm going off line now, probably for the rest of the evening so if you want to know about it go to Chanty's forum and look in the SN Swatches, I posted a pic there, it's not very good but it'll give the curious souls an idea...

Got my TGIF!

I know how everybody is always curious as to what the color "du jour" looks like so I'll describe it to you if you PM me so I won't spoil the surprise for those that don't want to know. ;) I'm going to try taking a pic of it but can't promise it'll look right since my camera is not one of...

Re: Candid

Karen, I think the way you feel is admirable but personally I don't see anything wrong with using the GWP to boost sales. I think its promotional effect is there anyway whether intended or not, as we all like to find out what it's like in order to decide sometimes the timing of our order or, as you...

Re: Neutral Wash colour help please!

I too was looking for a similar color (that Bourjois looks great!). I'm sure I could not wear Nekkid as pale colors get "lost" on me, even under the brow they don't look very good on me, ditto with the warm tones. So Karen, maybe this could be a new color for you to work on. ;)

Re: Some quick questions...

PLEASE make cream concealers in all the shades! I've a tan complexion so I could use one of the peaches if it's not sheer. I'm currently using a peach from "the company that shall not be named" which I believe was discontinued, but since it's a powder it's a bit of a problem as others hav...
