Re: Equalizer

Thanks for the response Karen - and congratulations on your new arrival as well :)

My melasma flared up quite badly during pregnancy and hasn't gone back to it's previous level as yet, so will stick with the sheer zinc.

Equalizer

Hi, does anyone know what % zinc oxide & titanium dioxide are in Equalizer? I usually make a blend of sheer zinc finishing powder combined with green pigment (the one you can add to foundation to adjust the colour) plus a scoop or two of buttery gold (but mainly green :D ) for everyday use but b...

Re: SN Ultimate Retractable Travel Kabuki - User reviews ?

I dithered for ages before buying this, but it really is an excellent brush. It's very similar to the TooFaced retractable kabuki if you've ever looked at that (but that one is pink), but I haven't seen the ecotools one so can't compare.

Cream bronzer

Probably not the right time of year to be talking bronzer but I absolutely adore the new cream blush sticks and would love to see a bronzer available in this same stick/tube format. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of the current SN powder bronzers, but as the formula of the cream blush is so smoo...

Re: tinted moisturizer using mineral foundation

Hi catlover, I haven't had much success mixing mineral foundation with moisturiser (it does indeed get a bit claggy), but mixing a few crumbs of the SN foundation pigment with your moisturiser or sunscreen definitely does work. I always wear an spf 50+ zinc oxide based liquid sunscreen but it turns ...

Re: Super Serum and Melasma

Just wanted to update for anyone w/ melasma. I've been using the Otameal Serum daily AM on area's I get melasma and have noticed lightening of existing patches. I read licorice extract helps slow/stop the production of the enzyme that produces melanin. So it not only helps lighten, but stops the da...

Re: What are we missing?

I'd be interested in a brow wax/gel product - especially if it had some of the nourishing/growth-promoting properties of your lash serum. Jen is right - the clear cream liner makes a great brow setting product; if you prefer something more liquid the mixing medium it 'wetter' but really sets well s...

Re: What are we missing?

It's not something that's missing, more a shade I'd love to own - MAC Mineralised blush in Warm Soul. http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT21851&PRODUCT_ID=PROD90200&SKU_ID=SKU112155&QUERY=warm%20soul I must admit that in the picture it looks somewhat boring and ...

Re: Covering up brown spots

Hi Colleen, Yep, I've got melasma too and have had it for the past 6 or 7 years - sounds like mine is in exactly the same place as yours, across my cheekbones and also in a splodge in the centre of my forehead above the bridge of my nose. I have found that Super Serum (and other topical, non prescri...

Re: Cream bronzer

I think it might be hard to blend a cream bronzer over areas like the bridge of your nose without rubbing off your foundation. Yes, it probably would be difficult to do that; I don't usually use powder foundation in summer, and instead mix buttery gold pigment with a liquid mineral sunscreen I buy ...
