Lurid- plum taupe velvet matte- compare to MAC Moth Brown

$4.50

Description

Details

At first glance it's a brown/grey/taupe color, but it has strong plum undertones and a hint of shimmer. It's surprisingly versatile, and a great match to the popular but limited edition Moth Brown by MAC.

Ingredients:  Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Myrsistate, Magnesium Stearate, Boron Nitride, Silica.  Also contains:  Iron Oxides, Carmine

Very nice color,Review by alycen T.
Very nice color, more shimmery than I expected, but that's not a bad thing. Makes a great superfast one-color eye when blended all over the lid and up into the crease. Looks fab with hazel eyes. Could be more pigmented, imo - I had to really pack it on to get it to show up well on my very fair skin. Probably wouldn't show up much on darker complexions at all.

I like thisReview by Gale L.
I like this eyeshadow a lot! I bought it primarily hoping to use it as an eyeliner and it works very well that way. (I like to use interesting colors as subtle liners during the day.) I was surprised to find that I can use this lightly or layered with a light neutral as a basic eyeshadow, too. (I was thinking it might be too dark for that.)
This is a wonderful, sophisticated classic color for someone who likes a natural look that is not boring.

This is definitely one of my favorite eyeshadows in my collection. It's not something I have normally picked out but because Moth Brown was specifically recommended to complete a certain look I ended up getting this. It's extremely versatile and you can use it w/ almost any color. It compliments blues, purples, blacks, greys very well.

Lurid is aReview by Nikki W.
Lurid is a wonderful color! It is a great crease color, just enough depth to create a beautiful combo not overly made up. It has been my go to color for the past weeks. I put eye primer then a neutral base like chic or posh the lurid in the crease and smudge line. BEAUTIFUL. It looks like a complex eye combination but 2 steps and very quick! Everyone should own this color...trust me!!!!

A gorgeous coolReview by Julia W.
A gorgeous cool brown with hints of grey and purple, this is my second fave eyeshadow and it deserves more reviews! It's a fantastic neutral that goes with everything and looks lovely with my blue eyes. If browns can look orangey on you, you need Lurid, no orange at all. It has an extremely subtle shimmer- not flat matte, but almost, meaning it's great for times when shimmery eyes aren't suitable.

great colour for brown eyes, makes them pop. I also use an eyeliner liquid to make this an eyeliner and it's such a pretty neutral with a punch!

This is a great color. I don't wear frost shadows and the very little "sparkle" this has is very nice. It is more matte as in the description. I will definitely buy more of this color and can't wait to try the others too...if I could only make up my mind!
