I missed out on it and didn't even know Karen did one in the past till I emailed her about shipping costs and import duties (I live in the UK) and as I result it was getting quite expensive to order every week just to get the GWPs. Apparently you subscribe for three months and get all the GWPs, somewhat similarly to the popular beauty boxes. I guess we always want what we can't have, LOL. I hope Karen will do it again.

I would also be interested, it sounds like a lot of fun! I feel like there are a lot of colors that I'd never consider trying until actually giving them a shot. Plus everyone loves a good mystery!

I joined the mystery adventure club one time around Christmas, and it was so much fun, depending on the cost I would totally join again if it were offered.

it IS soooo much fun. I absolutely love it.I want to say there have been 3 editions of it but there may have been 4...

Karen has said in the past she has mixed feelings about it. The GWP are trully meant to be a gift and she doesn't really like making people pay for them (even though we are happy to pay for them! We like paying for them!) and she really likes the freedom of just playing and turning her creativity into a happy present and the expectation to put out something new and different puts some pressure on that creativity. I've noticed in past MACs that she does try to make the collections cohesive (colors that go together, etc) and that's a lot harder than sitting down and saying, "this is what I'm feeling today" and representing it in color. I for one don't care if the colors go together at all, most of my favorite shadows are GWP shades.

Yes, I'm on a low and fluctuating student budget, but depending on the price, I would love to do the MAC! It could be better because then I can place an order when I can but continue to get an SN fix! I don't mind having random colors; sometimes it's more fun that way.

I am curious though, does Karen continue to do separate GWPs for actual orders?

When Karen did the MAC before she did not do other gwp colors, so if you ordered you would have two of that weeks gwp. I really didn't mind that since I don't order that often. I also don't mind if the colors don't go together. I have a lot of makeup so I am sure I have something it will go with. I use gwp colors most days. That is a big part of my collection since I joined in on all the other mac's.
