I am putting together a cart of mostly lippies, and I thought it may be wise to ask for recommendations. Like most people I gravitate to certain colors, but I would love to know what colors you think would look best on me. I think that would really give me a fresh perspective and get me to try something new that I may not have tried, but that may end up being something I love.
Below is my pic, with my baby girl in it as a bonus. She is the reason I have been MIA for so long as she has been keeping me really busy. But I am excited to be excited about makeup again and get some pretties to play with!
My only restriction is I try and stay away from dyes. But actually if anyone would like to educate me in that area I would be grateful. I know FD&C dyes are approved for food, so I have always wondered if something like Iron Oxides and Mica is really safer, because those are not used in food(or are they?)

Eyeshadow recs are welcome too, I just try and not get too many as I have tons already. But I do want to get Phantom, as I am dying to try the new eyelights!

ok, nevermind about the dye thing, Karen explained it to me, and I feel totally fine using dyes now. So fell free to recommend any lippies, dyes or no dyes.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Yea, I'm not looking for any specific color, I just wanted to get some suggestions. Because I get used to only choosing certain colors, ya know? And I don't want to get in a rut.

I used to have Infatuation and I loved it actually. I wonder if I should get cool toned lippies, like plums and purples then?
But at the same time I like warm colors too, like ones with gold in them and peachy colors.
I wonder if that is ok, like if I can wear warm tones and cool tones, because I usually hear people say you are one or the other...

I actually used to have Symphony too, I can't remember why I got rid of it.... I think it is because I fear reds for some reason, because it is such a bold look. But perhaps I should try reds again, it seems to be a good color for fall.

I am filling up my cart with all the new lippies that have come out since I last ordered, and I really need help narrowing it down. I pretty much want all the ALGs and Buttercreams, lol.
