Dixie + XXX gives a lovely nude-peachypink shade Like the peach sis to Mirage

So I got my 4 new lipstains today..yay! Love to come home from work and find an SN package in the mailbox.

I love these lipstains. Like I said before. I've tried a TON of lipstains - it's my go to lip product before gloss or lipstick. I love how long a stain lasts, that you can just put clear chapstick over top throughout the day without even having to look and that you can almost convince yourself that your lips are naturally that perfect color

Here's the lowday for anyone who is *thinking* about buying the SN lipstains.....

My first impression of the silk naturals stains is that I friggin' love them. The consistency is perfect - some stains are sticky or watery, these glide right on with a good punch of pigment but they don't leave any weird residue. The color also doesn't dry so fast that you don't have time to even them out with your finger before they dry.

For the colors, I was surprised to find that my fave was Dixie! It's an orangey red, I might call it poppy. It reminds me of the stain you might get from eating a red popsicle but more subdued, it's also a bit sheer so it's not overwhelming. A good pop of color (and I'm all about color), but totally wearable, and if you want more, just layer. I'll probably get the most wear out of Doll - this is a go-to color, probably the most pigmented out of the bunch, a cool pink, a bit brighter than a berry, comparable to babydoll by vincent longo (which I love but that stuff is like $20!!), a little deep so it feels more "every day". Gigi is a more playful because it's so bright, as well as a little sheer so it doesn't go on scary bright...right away - of course you can layer if you want more! And then Roxie is a brown which could sound weird, but what it really does is just deepen whatever color it goes over - that could be your lips, so one coat of this could be a good Your-Lips-But-Better color, or you can deepen any of the other colors with it.

Anyway - what it comes down to is that if you're even thinking about getting them, just go ahead and do it. And go ahead and get them all - then you'll have one for every occasion. You can't beat the price and the quality and colors are awesome.

I LOVE Dixie! It's the perfect orange for me, like I'm ready for my close-up on Mad Men! I tried it also with Zinnia, then with Blaze, as suggested here. Both are beautiful, bright looks.

Dixie + Fanfare = Very red coral + warm peach tinge to it

It really brings out the fine glitter in Fanfare!

Dixie + Mirabelle = Bright, poppy color--like the flowers!

Roxie + Ginny = a great nude lip color with some coral shimmer...purdy!!

Will receive mine in the end of June and your posts make me drool!

Tracy, could you please post your pic with Gigi+Showstopper? I am already starting to get ready to dare to wear this combo or Gigi+Crazy Love... Thanks!

Roxie + Seedy = a very sophisticated deep berry shade

I am so loving the stains! It is like the number of lip colors I own has jumped significantly just by having them!

Roxie + Wistaria = a berry brown tone on me...LOVE it!!

I applied Gigi last night and still had pink lips this morning. I added Nude Beach, and got a lip color that looks like Bronze Beauty blush.

Die Marchen-- I haven't taken a picture of the Gigi + Showstopper combo yet. This is the first week of classes, and it's too early to teach with extreme PINK lips!
