I'm not completely sold on the color on me, but I absolutely LOVE the formula.

Yes, in the pod, it looks like a colour best suited to 'ladies of colour' and I didn't think a pale skinned gal like me could wear it. However, against the rosy pigmentation of my lips, it becomes such a pretty, dainty blue-based pink - a description which does it no justice at all. (It sounds cyanotic!) If you find that you've got deeper coloured lips or flush pink easily, this is very beautiful. If one's lips aren't too pigmented and don't show through the lippy colour, then it might not work so well. It's got that "ooh, that's unexpectedly nice!" effect that Rhonda had but fresh, contemporary and ever-so-feminine.

Yep, if I put it on too heavy, I look like I have frostbite. :? A sheer layer isn't so bad. Still love the formula, though! And I totally agree about it being a fresh and contemporary look--I love how Karen stays in-touch and up-to-date with the world! :D

 That made me laugh out loud (for real). It'd be so wrong in an opaquely pigmented lipstick (for pale folks) but in this sheer gloss, it's magical. I wouldn't change a thing about it (other than putting it into a stick tube).

I could definitely do a great goth look with it for Halloween . . . hmmm, gotta remember that!

I do LOVE the plumping effect . . . I just want a peachy-pink version! ;)

Rhonda was completely hideous on me, but I think My Pretty works. I'm going to take a pic and post it you all can help me decide. Sometimes what I see in the mirror and what I see in pic's are totally different.

I LOVE this GWP. I like the colour and the forumla. the colour is very lavender, and very sheer, it does show up lavender though on my lips, but not soo much so that I look like I am freezing to death. My lips aren't overly pigmented, and can have a purplish tinge to them naturally, especially when they are very dry, so I probably wouldn't want to go more lavender than My Pretty is. (Plus, I am freezing ALL the time, so I have to be careful because they can look purplish from this too!!!)
I can feel the plumping, and I LOVE that part. I have scrawny lips, so this feels great on, very nice and moisturising as well. I can feel the plumping effect very nicely, and the colour lends itself nicely to layering, so I have been applying some Fearless overtop and that looks FAB!
I really hope this makes it into the line up for new lippies! I would love a Lip Plumping series of colours, I'd get them all, especially a colour like Bitten!! ohh, I'd be in LOVE :)

Been using my My Pretty and just love this. I only hope to get this in a full size and in more colors ...like hot pinks or maybe some bright cool red tones. My chicken lips love it. ;) :) :)

Ah, I knew there was a thread for this already. Hopefully I can delete my other thread.

I am warm skinned toned (olive/tan) and thought My Pretty would be too cool for me, but its not! It's such a beautiful color! It makes my face look polished and gives it that extra OMPH!

I've been using My Pretty a lot these few days (when I couldn't find my Hot Chocolate Lip Lube & Smooth & Full! But managed to find them again today in one of my bags :D)

It doesn't really plump my lips much that I can see (not really looking for that), the colour is sheer enough for me although I don't think cool tones work on my skin. But my 2 main gripes are - it doesn't moisturise my lips and comes off very quickly when I drink from my cup, unlike the other SN Lip products I have. The moisturising factor actually bothers me most though - maybe the formula can be tweaked somehow for a richer feel and burst of moisture?
