General routine: Cleanse, Exfoliate/Tone, Treat, Hydrate/Moisturize
Exfoliation of some kind will do wonders for your skin. I remember around your age (probably a little earlier) that all I had to do was manual exfoliation about three times a week and my skin looked pretty good. I recommend one of our Microdermabrasion products...I usually recommend the gel most of the time, but the cream is pretty outstanding in the drier winter months. I almost always did the manual exfoliation in the shower after cleansing. I know once I got little older (now 41), the AHA toner was better. If you have sensitive skin, the AHA toner might take some getting used to.
For general serum, I echo what was said about the Oatmeal Serum. The best one for general hydration. For treatment serums, my favorite right now is Awesome Sauce. The Vitamin C Peptide is also good. I am not sure the Facelift is for you just yet. Super Serum is good, too, but I think one of the first two I mentioned would be more utilitarian in that that you could get by with one treatment serum.
For a moisturizer, (I am assuming where you live one would be very benificial), I like the Firming, but the Camellia Passionfruit is a good budget one. It does have a bit of an earthy/natural smell from the Green Tea part of the mix.
You could add a toner, too, but you might want to think about adding that in later. I tend to like the Lavendar Toner the best. And starting with a cleansing routine is good....I know on a budget that the KISS cleanser lasts a very long time especially if it is diluted. It is best diluted, too, as it can be kind of harsh on the skin if it is not.
