It made my day when my friend agreed to make my wedding dress. She's a seamstress at a theatre and I think it will be just lovely.

This is such a great initiative by Silk Naturals, you're amazing <3

What a fantastic idea -- thank you for being so generous.

Being reminded that there are so many generous people out there certainly made my day.
Listening to my favorite music made my day.
Cat kisses made my day.
A family member reaching out to me made my day.
A good homemade latte made my day.

What a wonderful way to donate, Karen!

It made my day...

to hear my sister got into her first choice college

to have one full day of no puppy accidents on my floors ;)

to meet with my new students yesterday and see their positivity and eagerness to learn

to find out my parents and grandparents donated quite a lot of money to the Haitian relief efforts, as well as all the other ways the world has responded and come together over this horrific event

What a wonderful idea Karen!

Hmm... It's easy: I got a job today! That totally made my day after having looked for one for 5 months.

Seeing the faces of my happy family today, paying with our cat, getting a new haircut, chatting with some friends online, re-discovering one of my favorite bands... It was all cool. :D

It's also nice to see how many great things have happened to all the ladies here today. :)

What made my day today is that Tampa is back into normal weather. Instead of being in the 20s and 30s F (-9C to -1C), we're finally back where we should be, around 70F (21C).

I hated the bizarre 2 week period of cold and am thankful to be warm again.

I'm really happy about the warmth in my home today. This morning I was under the shower and suddenly the water went cold and it would not get warm again. It turned out that the central heating system was underfilled with water. I was a bit hesistant about filling it myself (since it's something I have never done before and my head was all fuzzy from last night's party) but after a few hours the temperature dropped to 57 degrees, and it was really cold. I fixed it (but not without soaking myself and the entire room in dirty smelly heating water). I'm so glad my home is warm again and that the tap runs hot water!
