It made my day...

~That my 10 year won the science fair project that he worked so hard on.
~That my 14 year son still likes to spend time with us, movie nights and board games. :)
~That even though we are a one income family now we have a roof over heads and food to eat.
~That I have a wonderful loving husband and children. What else could I ask for? :D

My husband and my kids always make my day just being with them is enough.

Yesterday my Mystery Adventure Club package also made my day.

This is a super idea Karen. Thanks for thinking of it.

This is such a kind and generous idea, Karen. And it is making my day to read everyone's posts.

It made my day yesterday when my Mystery Adventure Club package arrived! I was glad I had somehow felt I should wait to take my shower until after it arrived so I got to play with the contents right away!

It made my day last night when I picked up my seven year old son from a birthday dinner he attended and the other child's mother told me what a nice, polite boy my son is.

It made my day last night when my thirteen year old son came home from seeing a movie and we got to talk together about it, and the fears it illuminated, and he had some enlightenment about why his parents can seem like such over-protective, neurotic people at times.

It makes my day, every day, to have my wonderful husband and my sweet boys in my life.

It made my day when my 4 year old DD drew a picture of me and her with a heart.
It made my day when my 8 year old DS comes up and hugs me just because.

It made my day when after a series of days feeling inadequate and unsuccessful at work I got the best yearly review so far, and I realize that the sum of the parts is much bigger than the whole.

Thanks you, Karen, you're an awesome person!
