Currently wearing 1:1 ebony/base+1:1 warm gold/base. Have worn or sometimes wear in other lines: Lumiere FF Medium Beige, Meow Frisky Persian/Naughty Siamese or Naughty Chartreaux or Naughty Manx, Dreamworlds Ki.

Great thread, Mikie!

I am currently wearing 1Warm:10White (my favorite). Can also currently wear 1Ebony:1Warm:20White, but generally like to stick to one dark base for ease of mixing. When I am pale like this, I can get away with Ebony as the dark base, but must use the Warm when I am more tan in the warmer months.

Foundations in other lines that have matched me at this depth are Mineral Boutique W3, Everyday Minerals Fairly Light-Beige and Sunkissed Fair, Meow Frisky Chartreux. With a tan, I was Everyday Minerals Medium Beige-Warm.

I use a teaspoon (the measuring kind) along with the scoops, for ease. Right now my recipe is 1 tsp white base, 2 scoops ebony, and 1/2 scoop warm gold to warm up my skin tone just a tad.

Lumiere's Light Beige and Light Cool (in Cashmere and Veena), EDM's Sandy Fair, and Signature Mineral's 1 Ivory (lightest shade) were 'almost-but-not-quite' for reference.

- bareFaced Minerals: Y1
- KT Naturals: Light Warm

Lol! I went for 1 warm:1 gold: 14 white......
In the beginning I thought I was of medium tan. So i tried mixing a 1:1 ratio. But I guess that didn't work too well.
Haha...guess im not that dark after all....

Rubycat, check your post ~ you only use 1 part base to 8 scoops of color? Just checking! I use a 1:1 ratio color:base & so far I think I'm the only person I've run into who does that, lol :) ... I just went w/Karen's recommendations waaaaaay back with my 1st order!

Yikes, Mikie, thank you for catching that error, that is a huge mistake!!! No, I use 8 scoops white base to 1 scoop buttery gold.

Ruby :)
