Re: Rave for ALGs

I am in my mid-forties and I have tiny fine lines around my mouth. I use Smooth and Full 24-7, either alone or under my lip color, and over the past few months the lines have diminished. They were not deep to begin with, but still. . . :P It also hydrates my lips and makes my lipstick look better. ...

Re: Half sizes of serums

Half size option sounds like a good idea for serums with Vitamin C. A sample of Super Serum has lasted me longer than I expected so I do wonder how long a full bottle will last. This is very helpful especially since some serums won't be used twice a day everyday because they may not be compatible al...

Re: A couple of questions on lippie colors (pics of my haul)

AHHH all those lip products look fabulous on you! This is bad..I've already reached my spending limit on makeup, and now I want to get more Silk Natural lip products (wishfully wanting Incite, Blushberry, Menage, Fashionista). You made some good choices.

Re: Rave for ALGs

I'm glad you created this topic. The ALG's are my favorite from Silk Naturals as well. For a formula that's not super thick, I was surprised with the great (but not overwhelming) color payoff. I only own 2 colors, but I don't have to reapply as often compared to a lip gloss in a wand. The ALG sort o...

Re: What would you like for the Holiday collection?

-I'd also like an eye treatment/moisturizer for fine lines, dehydration and dryness. This will be much needed when the temperature becomes unbearably cold, and when dry heat from heating devices absorb too much moisture. -And I give another vote for more opaque milky lip colors that have no shimmer/...

Re: tempt tryst v liberty golden

I would like to know as well. I've ordered samples of both and have used both. I intended on using them as an all-over finish to brighten and add color to my dull complexion and even out foundation. But I didn't notice any sort of effect from them (even subtle). I also didn't have any success with o...

Re: Milk white lip gloss

Yeah..I totally would dig this too...please :P I'd like to "milkify" (just made that up) my lip colors that are too bold/sharp. I have somewhat creamy lip glosses, but they are in shades of pink. So a matte opaque or cloudy creamy white would be helpful. I've tried other stuff to attempt m...

Re: Eyeshadows and blushes as lippies

Thanks for this info. Believe it or not, but I actually have my eye on Safety (matte orange eyeshadow) to use on my lips. For some reason I'm kind of wanting a carrot/pumpkin/calendula orange color also. A true orange. I tried Palace blush on my lips out of curosity, but it comes out too dark. Safet...

Re: Dehydrated Skin: Tamarind Seed Extract or Hyaluronic Aci

Thank you for your insight. Yeah, I came to my senses and decided that I don't want to spend extra money on the Japanese hyaluronic lotions. Seems gimmicky and full of fillers anyway (like high amounts of glycerin, which I don't like the feeling). Nor do I want to get that fancy $27 toner. I've seen...

Dehydrated Skin: Tamarind Seed Extract or Hyaluronic Acid?

My sensitive skin has been dehydrated for years and my adult acne has continuously worsen. I know I have to work on my diet to include more fats, less sugar and carbs, and drink more water. But I need something topically to use so that SN mineral foundation will look smoother (I need to wear foundat...
