Re: So what have you used all of?

I am such a makeup whore I never finish anything (and there are very few things I would repurchase, one day when I finish them I will definitely repurchase precious and homecoming queen (and probably a couple of other things, but that's about it). I have sooo many of everything though that generally...

Re: highlight colors, lighter than boom, same family?

OK, I just re-read that and it didnt make that much sense, so here is a better response! Adorn - haven't tried Bristol - too pink, Homecoming Queen - must have, beautiful pearly neutral highlight colour Mojave - lid colour Vanilla - too shimmery Whipped Cream - very chunky shimmery Whisper - pretty ...

Re: highlight colors, lighter than boom, same family?

Yep, you need homecoming queen. Mojave is too dark for a highlight for me, the others I have tried from that list are too shimmery (I prefer pearly rather than shimmery highlights) what sort of finish do you like in a highlight colour?

Re: Test product review

It's interesting, I didn't find the asphalt hard at all, no harder than my old film noir, although a different consistency (kind of crumbly, whereas my film noir is creamier? That could be because film noir is matte though). I think I prefer the old formula, but not to the extent that I wouldn't buy...

Re: bright pop fuschia pink matte lippie!

I have hibiscus, and the colour is not really shimmery, I mean there is shimmer, but on the lips the shimmer is not really obvious. On me it fufills that intense fuschia look.

Re: What kind of girl are you?

I am a bit of an everything girl... well really eyeshadows first (I probably have about 400) then lippies (I have a lot fewer, but mostly because you have to use them up faster, but in my handbag I have at least 20 at any one time). When I wear makeup (every day except weekends when I am at home I w...

Re: Goggles4U is having a sale....

Wow, I never thought of getting glasses/sunglasses online, but that is an awesome price. My glasses cost $840NZ, and my prescription sunnies $500NZ, hence I have had the sunglasses for a few years now, and could totally do with updating them! It would be so good to get some cheap/fun backup pairs.

Re: Gumball Hair Stuff....

I have dead straight fine flat blah hair (lol, see my avatar). I got both gels, thought I might as well try, but as I imagined, the curl enhancing gel had nothing to enhance, lol, so didn't do anything. The volumising gel however is awesome, it definitely gives my hair more body, even if I don't blo...

Re: The Diet/Self-Improvement Thread

Hi All, I haven't been on the forum for ages as my makeup budget (and my everything budget :P) have been $0 and it has been too depressing. I am still working hard on my PT course and making good progress, going to the gym about 5 times a week and seeing results in fitness, strength and appearance :...

Re: The Diet/Self-Improvement Thread

I still feel like I haven't caught up on the week I missed at the gym being sick, and it is much harder to get there now the kids are off school, but I went today and yesterday, and have a 'plan' in place with dh for him to watch the girls so I can go - he is not super pleased about it though, sigh....
